Nathan Haines is an internationally renowned flautist, saxophonist, composer, producer, bandleader and vocalist with a body of work in multiple styles stretching back for over two decades.
The brand new album 5 A Day produced, recorded and mixed alongside Mike Patto (UK) is released first in New Zealand on November 28, and sees Nathan team up with UK based producer Marc Mac (4hero) and New Zealand producer P-Money. Guest vocalists Vanessa Freeman, Kevin Mark Trail and Tama Waipara also feature.
Just got my 1962 Selmer Mk VI back from my good friend Jnr at Vanguard Orchestral. WOW!!!! He totally stripped the horn and replaced all the felts and corks AND re-sprung the whole thing. It’s like new. Except it’s not. It’s even better than that. It’s a vintage Selmer VI! Thanks to Jnr.
