Description
Long considered one of the finest ligatures on the market, the Bonade ligature provides excellent sound and control. On a Bonade ligature, “pressure ribs” hold the reed securely at points just off-center of the reed, so the edges of the reed are free to vibrate. As a result, more reeds are playable with this ligature. Another advantage is that 20 to 30 percent more tone may be produced, for greater carrying power.
