This trumpet is identical to the 1000 series but includes a first valve hook and a brace on the main tuning slide.
This model is perfectly suited for beginner players who want the extra option of being able to tune the first slide during playing. If the player is starting out young this instrument is perfectly suited up until either tertiary education, or mid-way through high school if the player is developing well.
